In this fun and informative, two-day hands-on smoking extravaganza you’ll learn everything you need to know about the art of smoking brisket – from top to bottom.

Guiding you on your journey into the world of low and slow smoking is a star-studded panel of Canadian and international grilling experts and masters in the art of smoking. Coming all the way from Weber headquarters in Chicago, Illinois is guest speaker Kevin Kolman, the world’s only certified Grill Master, Chef Dustin Green from the Weber Grill Restaurant in Schaumburg, Illinois, Pitmaster Russell Roegels, owner of Roegels BBQ in Houston, Texas and Master Butcher Abe Van Melle, Technical Manager of the Canadian Beef Centre of Excellence, Calgary, Alberta. Your Weber hosts are none other than Weber Grill Expert and celebrity Chef Michael P. Clive of the Weber Grill Academy and Weber Grill Specialist Chef Damien Chong who will be moderating the event.

What To Expect

Weber Grill Academy classes are held year-round, are open to the public, and are always hands-on. In each class, you’ll get three hours of instruction from Grill Expert and celebrity Chef Michael P. Clive, and when you’re done, you will eat your creation (and can take home your leftovers—if there are any!).

The Grill Academy is also available for private parties and corporate events, providing an exciting and truly one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

As Weber Canada’s Grill Expert, Chef Michael P. Clive is responsible for training and education initiatives. He started his career in London, Ontario after graduating from Culinary Management and Tourism & Hospitality from Fanshawe College. Chef Clive has worked in some of Ontario’s finest restaurants and corporations, has had countless appearances on local and national television shows, and has even produced and hosted his own cooking shows.
